Again like i said, good place to shop, great selection, but i cant wait to see some self checkout or better trained staff.
Not a bad selection, good prices and a clean well organized store. Unfortunately the checkout experience really brings the entire rating down. Staff are not trained in customer service, and the people bagging your groceries are clearly untrained. (You don't put a jar of pasta sauce in a bag with a loaf of bread) Also i really don't need to hear the bagging clerks commentary on every item i purchase and i certainly don't need questions like "Whats tofu, this looks weird" shouted at me while trying to pay for my groceries. To top it all off the cashier was rolling her eyes and scoffing at the bagging clerk the entire time and then looked at me and said "I took $5 off but thats the best i can do" like this somehow made up for the terrible experience.
Very nice and shiny, having just opened. Super friendly staff. Decent variety of goods, especially frozen items and fresh veggies. Pretty well priced with some good deals. Still feels like the old place though.
Shaw's has quickly become my new favorite grocery store in Hudson. The employees make you feel like your family they remember you and are always super helpful in finding things in answering questions. They do have the freshest fruits and vegetables and top-quality means that no other store can provide. So happy they moved in!
So so grocery store. Better than the nearby Stop and Shop but that's about it.
This place had a weird vibe. Snacks I grabbed were old tasting in package.
