I have had our bikes serviced here for years...and so far the experience has been excellent..
Fantastic shop and service; Doug is honest, experienced, caring and helpful. Tom Stevens works there and is a legend in the cycling community and there is no better wrench than Tom. I trust him with my life; I train on the carbon wheels he built for me, and he's tuned up and modified a couple of my road bicycles and done a top notch job. Love this shop and I'm picky and have high expectations. I've been racing and riding since the 1980's - give Assabet River Bicycles a shot! Many of my neighbors have been very happy with them as well, purchasing bicycles for kids to road bikes for adults.
Recently there are two new technicians working...who seem to be very knowledgable and professional..
Service has been dependable and prices have been fair.
Not bad place for a service. Nice technician who works on the bikes. Seems a little expensive though. Decent stock of bikes but they're not cheap but they also have a limited selection of second hand bikes.
